 CAT HOUSE 

We made a cat house in our classroom for the stray animals, especially cats, in the area where our school is located. Then we painted this house with our students. We placed the house in our school garden by putting a soft pillow inside. We put food and water bowls next to the house so that it would attract the attention of the cats. It provided awareness about animals for the children and was also a fun experience. The painting process of the cat house was especially fun.

On the occasion of World Environment Day, June 5, the Armenochori Kindergarten in collaboration with the Papagianni Kindergarten and colleague Vasiliki Skendou, participated with joy and enthusiasm in the event entitled "Planting knowledge... Cultivating awareness", organized by the Florina Primary Education Directorate at the New Park of Florina.

 The event was attended by schools from all over the prefecture of Florina, teachers, parents and representatives of the Municipality of Florina. Our Kindergarten presented and disseminated the European eTwinning project "Protecting Animals", which was implemented during the school year 2024-2025. Through activities, posters and children's creations, the effort to raise awareness about the protection of animals and the importance of environmental awareness from an early age was presented.

On June 5, 2025, our Kindergarten took part in the event organized in our city for World Environment Day. At the event, we presented the project PROTECTING ANIMALS, together with the Kindergarten of Armenochori. We also created a workshop where children from other schools came and, with the help of our students, they made frogs.

EXCURSION TO ANIMAL RESERVE IN SAN ROQUE MOUNT

Today we went to the San Roque Mountain Animal Reserve to celebrate World Environment Day, give our little fish a better life, and see all the animals in the reserve. We also had time to take a walk, play in the park, clean up trash, and enjoy nature. A great day!

DOG,S EMOTIONS WITH PEQUEÑITA

 Today, we could enjoy with Pequeñita and her owner, Virginia. She told about the way dogs  communicate and express their emotions so we can understand them much better.
