"Animals masks"

The students made animal masks to celebrate carnival! They enjoyed very much!

 

Hayvanlar ve Geleneksel Oyunlar Çilli Horozum

Denizli horozu, Denizli iline özgü, yerel Tavuk Irkları'ndan biri ve horoz ırkıdır. Uzun ve ahenkli ötüşüyle diğer ırklardan ayrılır. Yöre halkının yetiştirmek için uzun öten horozları tercih etmesiyle zamanla kendiliğinden oluşmuş bir ırktır. Denizli çevresinde çıkarılan MS 2. yüzyıla ait yazıtlarda horoz motiflerine rastlanmaktadır. Denizli horozlarının birinci yıldaki ötüş uzunluğu 20-25 sn uzunluğundadır.

 Veterinarian Aykut Ünlü visited our School. He shared very important information about animals and their care.

As our school, we started a food campaign for the animal shelter. We delivered the donated food to the Çivril Municipality shelter.

VISIT FROM A VETERINARIAN

 Ana, the veterinarian, has stopped by San Roque Kindergarden to tell us what her work consists of. We have learned how to use a stethoscope, an otoscope, an ophthalmoscope, how to measure the temperature of our pets, how to give them an injection and a bandage and even how to put a microchip and how to check who their owner is when they are lost. It has been great!!
